Sóller, Port de Sóller and Fornalutx – also known as the Valley of the Orange, will celebrate their namesake with Fira de la Taronja (Festival of the Orange) on March 28 – April 5. Organized by the Ajuntement de Sóller, the celebration will include a variety of festivities, workshops, exhibitions, taste-testing, contests and live music. A handful of restaurants in Soller and Port de Soller will offer affordable (€ 23), special menus featuring orange and citrus ingredients.

Friday, March 20

7:00pm: ORANGE NIGHT. Gastro-orange tasting and live music.

7:00pm: Beginning of route for TAPES AND PINKS WITH CITRUS - skewer or lid + drink, € 5 - (in participating establishments). Location: Square and center of Sóller.

7:00pm: Live music, with the EMPELTATS, SE TREMPA and SONATS groups.

9:00pm: Delivery of the Gold Medal of the Agricultural Cooperative of Sant Bartomeu. Location: Sunset Center of the Cooperativa de Sóller.

Co-funded by FOGAIBA-Conselleria of Agriculture and Fisheries, City Council of Sóller and Hotel Association of Sóller.
