San Sebastian (Saint Sebastian) is the patron saint of Palma. The whole town spends no time after the start of the new year, and begins to prepare an extravaganza that lasts for the majority of the month of January. Some of the most eventful spectacles during these dates are things such as Revetla, a fiery parade through the streets of Palma, which includes a number of concerts and workshops for audiences of all ages.
