During the end of February, around the onset of spring, Sa Rua and Sa Rueta take place.
Sa Rua is Mallorca's very own carnival. The whole Island celebrates the festivities with concerts, drinks, food and even parades. Sa Rueta is aimed at children, whereas Sa Rua is for the adults. The procession marches down the most iconic roads of Palma including Borne, Jaume III and Plaza España.
Be sure to get all dressed up in your fanciest costume as there is a contest with prizes for the best dresses!
