The most expected light phenomenon comes this coming February 2. A unique moment which only occurs twice a year coinciding with symbolic dates: 2nd of February is the Candelaria festivity, and 11th of November is San Martín.
This event occurs because the sunlight passes through the cathedral's largest rose window and its reflection is projected on the main façade, under the opposite rosette, so for a short period of time, two rosettes can be seen in a tangential position, one glass and one light.
If you have not yet attended this luminous phenomenon, this time you
can not miss it! It is happening this Saturday February 2nd. La Seu will
open its doors at 07: 30h so you do not miss a minute. To conclude the
event at 9:30 am, the Mass will be celebrated for the Candelaria
festivity.
See you at "Festa de la Llum"! (Limited capacity)
