Caló des Moro

One of the best kept secrets on the island: a quaint, undeveloped beach extending between rocky outcroppings and steep cliffs. Fine, sandy beaches and clear, dancing waters of turquoise and light blue.

Calm, crystal clear waters open to the easterly winds, with a sandy bottom great for scuba diving. Small boats anchor at a depth of three to four meters. Sailors, this cala is two nautical miles off the port of Cala Figuera Santanyí.

With a tiny beach (just 44 meters long) Caló des Moro is less child-friendly with its steep decent to the beach and limited room for play on the sand. This is a rustic spot with no facilities, restaurants, lounge chairs and umbrellas, or water sports for hire. Leave your bags on a rock and just enjoy the water. You are on your own with nature here, hence its great appeal.
