When do I need to buy travel insurance? #
These plans include time sensitive benefits which require the policy to be purchased within 20 days of the date your initial trip payment is received.
The Signature Travel Plus policy with Cancel for Any Reason benefits is only available if you purchase within 20 days of the date your initial trip payment is received. The IMG Signature policy can be purchased up to 24 hours before the start of the trip.
Coverage for Trip Cancellation must take effect prior to the” triggering moment” for benefits to be payable. How sad to have signed up for one of the island events like 6Points Cycling or the Tramuntathlon and not be able to join due to a flight delay or cancellation.
Extended Plan Memberships
Extended Travel and TotalCareSM memberships are available to individuals of all nationalities, aged 75-85, with a completed application.
Student Memberships
Taking a semester abroad or a gap year? Global Rescue student travel memberships are annual memberships available to full time students under the age of 35.
The IMG Signature policy is the perfect add-on to your Global Rescue membership. Protect the value of your trip up to $100,000 with cancellation options that include Cancel For Any Reason, accident and sickness medical insurance and baggage loss.
Coverage for Trip Cancellation must take effect prior to the "triggering moment” for benefits to be payable. How disappointing to have signed up for one of the island events like 6Points Cycling or the Tramuntathlon and not be able to join due to a flight delay or cancellation. Being compensated helps provide peace of mind.
